Where and how are all of the garments made?
With ethical production being a key pillar in our business, our designer T'kor handmakes every item herself in her home studio.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do ship internationally. However, international orders will be responsible for paying their own custom/duties fees. If you are having trouble with your shipment or have concerns that we may not ship to your country, contact us via email (shop@tkorcouture.com) so we can ensure all concerns are addressed before placing an order.
How long will it take for my garment to deliver?
Shipping times vary depending on your location. Please allow up to 2-4 weeks before shipment. Delays may happen and we will be sure to communicate that with you. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items, but don’t worry, we won’t leave you hanging! Contact us (shop@tkorcouture.com) and we can get to the bottom of it together.
How do I care for a crochet piece?
Please treat your item with care. Keep item away from sharp/rough surfaces and objects so that it does not snag. For all products made out of merino wool, you must handwash using luke warm water and lay them flat to dry. For other items like our fluffy bucket hats, if you decide to use a washing machine, please do so on a cold and gentle/delicate cycle. Lay flat to dry or tumble dry. For a product that's long lasting, do not machine wash often.
Do you make Custom Items?
Yes, we do. Here you can customize the length, fit, and color(s) of a garment from a current or past collection. You may also request to create your own design. If you'd like to request a custom piece, please submit said request using our custom order form. Making a custom request does not solidify your spot in receiving a custom item, as spots are limited. Please keep in mind that customs do take longer to create, and that shipping times and prices vary depending on the requested item. Please proceed below to our Custom FAQ for more information.
Do you make plus-size clothing?
Yes, size inclusivity is an important pillar of ours. If there is an item currently listed that is not in your size, please email us (shop@tkorcoutue.com).
What is your return/refund policy?
At this moment, we can not offer refunds or accept returns for an item since everything is handmade to order. If you have an issue with your order, please reach out to us (shop@tkorcouture.com) so that we can work towards a solution together. In most cases, we can offer credit that can be used at your next purchase. Please make sure you select the right size and item before purchasing, and if you have any questions, contact us first.
Custom Design FAQ
How far in advance should I expect to purchase my piece?
Please plan for a minimum of two to three months before your event date to avoid rush fees, as all designs are special-order.
What if my event or wedding is in less than 2 months?
Select T'kor Couture designs can be purchased three weeks to two months prior to your event, however, a rush fee based on the available time and detail will be incurred for expedited delivery.
Can we arrange a meeting before purchase?
Please use the contact form, meetings & consultations can be arranged over the computer or phone.
Why are some of your designs from the collection not available to purchase in the online shop?
As of now, there is only one designer working on producing all of the orders that come through the site. As a result, quantities are limited and each piece is custom-made as a special order. Making all the pieces available online to purchase would be difficult to achieve an accurate size, as well as accommodate a client's individual needs.
What is a special order &/or custom design?
All of my designs are special-order, custom-made for you based on the pattern size closest to your measurements and reflecting any changes to the design you have requested. Custom orders specifically are designs in my collections not listed on my shop tab or any one of a kind, collaborative design made for the customer.
Price Range for T'kor Couture Designs?
The average price for a custom hand-made T'kor Couture Design is $100-$400 for custom accessories, $300-$700 for basics, and $800 - $3,000 for couture pieces such as sets or dresses.
Custom designs require a delicate hand and years of experience in the artisan. Each piece begins as a flat illustration and a ball of yarn, but with hours of care and technique transforms into the design you’ve been dreaming of.
Fine-Art Luxury options start at $1,500 and are made from luxury materials, possessing more detail while also allowing for more customization options.
All prices may vary depending on additional requests & rush delivery.
Do you offer Payment Plans?
Yes. Upon request, payment plans are available and can be tailored to best suit the client's needs.
